About our home

Casa Dikitaru is a self-catering house with a private pool, located on the slope of Caniçada, in the Cabreira mountain range. Surrounded by hills and overlooking the river, it is great for being immersed in nature and enjoying this peaceful and soothing environment.

The property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: one suite and two bedrooms - one with double bed and one twin room - with a shared bathroom. Bed sheets and bath towels are provided, as well as blankets and a hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped and in the living room there is a seating area with cable TV and dvd player and a dining table that seats up to 10 people. The entire property has free internet and countless games to do the wonders of kids and grown-ups: ping pong, table football, darts, cards and the traditional board games.

The house is set in a verdant garden full of flowers, fragmented into unevenness. At the level of the accommodation, there are 3 outdoor tables that allow various dining places: either under the branch and overlooking the river and the pool; a stone table that accompanies the barbecue or a small table in front of the room, any nook provides a multisensory experience - from the silence of the mountains to the dusk in the river.

Down to the pool on the lower level of the garden, a kitchenette with a dining table and a guest bathroom allows entire days to be spent between the pool and its surroundings.

What our guests are saying

"What Can I say about Gloria’s home? It is a real treat! A restful home away from home. (...)

The property is beautiful with everything you could possibly want there. The gardens and pool area are particularly lovely and we made good use of the stone built barbecue. The house is so well equipped that you could easily spend your whole time there and not be disappointed."
